Maegan MacKelvie proudly attended Gresham High School before moving on to attend University of Oregon. During her time at University of Oregon she doubled majored, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. She then went on to receive her Masters of Art in Teaching at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.

Maegan has been teaching since fall of 2007 and has been in the Redmond School District since fall of 2008. Maegan feels fortunate to be able to run all leadership programs at RVHS and be the Varsity Cheer Coach and JV Girls Golf Coach.

“We are extremely please to have Maegan join our SI family. As an alumnus and then a “back table” assistant to Dustin Purnell, she was passionate about the conference. Her personality and willingness to serve teachers makes her a perfect fit to run our Redmond Summer Institutes.  We have enjoyed a loyal and trusting relationship with Maegan to help everyone that we come in contact with succeed.”
